Rubarb Wine


Here is the
rhubarb wine in the secondary fermenter. Isn't it a beautiful colour!

Looks good enough to drink. It reminds me of red kool aid or Hawiian Punch.

Very nice Sheryl. Do you have more than one kind of rhubarb?

Our son is very allergic to it and so as long as he was at home we did not have much in the way of rhubarb anything.

His mouth would swell, especially his tongue, to the point of nearly closing off his breathing. Took a long time to figure it out.

That's a serious allergy! Do you have rhubarb in your garden now?

I just have the one kind - red.

Now that our son has moved out, we do have rhubarb things including in jams. We are just careful to be sure we don't serve anuthing when they are here.
