Not too long ago, I posted the first jean purse I made from an old pair of jeans (above picture). I had so much fun doing that and recycling old jeans that I have made a few more. I have begun to sell them. I have them on EBay for sale now and will be putting them on my site, here, for sale too!
I collected all the jeans that I no longer wear from my closet, as well as some from the closets of friends who were cleaning out. I collected not only jeans, but belts, buckles and do-dads, anything I thought would look good on a designer jean purse or as a liner for a jean purse. We had a lot of fun going through everyone's belongings and bags of items being "recycled".
When I had a bin full of goodies and jeans, I started designing purses. It is a lot of fun and can be very absorbing and rewarding!
You can see both of the purses below, at the tab above entitled "Artisan Crafts".
I made this one with a shoulder strap and metal belt in front. It has a double flap with velcro closure. I finished this one today. It has a zip closure.

The one at the very top is the first one I made in my previous post. It has been sold!

They're cute. You are very creative.
It's fun! I'm enjoying this diversion while waiting for the ground to thaw.
Nice handiwork, well done
I just purchased Sheryl's denim purse (the top photo) and I'm so pleased with it! It's even larger than I expected, so lots of room to carry my "stuff" :-).
Thank you, Sheryl, for another great quality product!
