E-Books for Download

(All of the books I offer here are in pdf format but can be converted to something else on request, including various formats for ebook readers.)

I have written five DIY books so far. (see Chapters). A few are no longer free, unfortunately. It just wasn't working out well. I have left a few of them free for download and have put the price beside the others in the list below. You can buy them directly from me via email through PayPal or, occasionally, on EBay.

To send me an email for book purchases, use the "email me" link in the left column on my "about me" page.

My Books:

"Keeping a Few Chickens at Home" - $5
"Foraging in the Wilderness"   -  Free
"The Homemaker's Handbook"   -  Free
"Making Organic Soap At Home" -$5
"Making Organic Wine At Home" - $5

Some of these books are free with a donation, for now, leaving the amount up to the individual and using the honor system. These donations will help us to stay off grid and give us both the time to write.

I charge a small amount for others, just to make it possible or me to continue to write them. You can purchase these directly from me, via email, or occasionally on EBay.

I have endeavored to make these books easy to follow with pictures, clear directions and explanations. I am planning a new book entitled, "How to Have a Green Thumb". Now that we are starting a freer lifestyle, I will have more time to write these.

I also have plans to write DIY art books. These will be along the lines of how to be an artist, not how to draw faces from circles, as so many how-to art books seem to be. There are very few books out there that teach the basic principles or art and how to practice and develop your talent! I think there is a need for the simple type of how-to art books that I want to write.

Actually found you from posting on the forums of gardenweb way back. think you were in barrie at the time because you were discussing plants that can grow in the barrie area and survive our winters. Anyways i am a student here in barrie (georgian college, mechanical engineer) and am very happy to have come across your website and the pdfs! i am excited to explore the forests and do some foraging! how is living on the road? to be quite honest i have thought of doing it for some time.
all the best!
